Are you all right?"
"Yes I'm fine" he smiled. he wondered whether he should tell him about what happened a moon ago. then decided to tell him, and then say he could still do the herding, because he'd hate to miss it and would probably go crazy he did miss it.
"A moon ago a herd beast ran into it at the beast stables that I was working in before, but it only hurts a little,"Kasanis said.
"I'll still be able to herd the runners, though I don't know what would happen if a runner ran into me agian," Kasanis said honestly.
He smiled at Aylana.
Patience rolled her eyes.

Though Kasanis treated the topic of his injury lightly, Caltrain grew concerned.
"A moon is a long time for something like that to linger," he said. "Perhaps you should go see the healers ... let them know your injury continues to plague you."
He knew there were exercises and treatments that could relieve old pains, and help a person regain use of an injured limb. He winced slightly as he recalled his parents efforts along those lines to help him gain better use of his shortened leg. Some of those treatments were more painful than the injury ... but in this case, he wondered if some simple exercise therapy might help.
It certainly wouldn't do for Kasanis' arm to start paining him at a critical moment, after all.

"Perhaps you should go see the healers ... let them know your injury continues to plague you."
Kasanis thought about that, and shook his head.
"The healers back where I came from tried to heal it-it didn't help me"Kasanis regecting the advice. "I'm sure I'll be fine."
Patience snorted and pulled back on the reins, pulling Kasanis down on the ground. Kasanis knew Patience didn't agree.
"Then agian, mabe I will go see the healers, but I doubt that will help" Kasanis said, getting up and petting Patience's head.
"So, what is the first chore today, master?" Kasanis suddently channging the subject.
**Healers? Therepy AGIAN?** Kasanis sighed. **Mabe healers are better here** he hoped.

"Our Masterhealer, C'lyn, is very good ... maybe he can find something to help you," Caltrain was saying, as the runner acted up and Kasanis hit the ground. He stepped forward to offer the man a hand, but Kasanis was up before he could reach him.
Caltrain liked the way the beasthandler bounced back, and couldn't help a good-natured chuckle.
"How do you feel about mending fences?" he asked with a grin. "I know, I know, everyone's least favorite chore. But the run-up pens to the feeding grounds have taken a beating with the increase of dragons after the hatching, and are in dire need of patching."
He nodded toward some holding caverns to the left of the pens. "There is lumber in there, and wire fencing as well. You can feel free to let your mare graze in the paddock with Ravyna's gray mare if you like. The stallion ... there are some individual pens over near where we'll be working that should keep him secure."

"C'lyn? Okay, I'll try him" Kasanis said, **I'd have to, or else Patience would never let me ride her untill I do...**
Kasanis looked at the fences the beastmaster was pointing at.

"Okay, I will get right to it" Kasanis said, and took the reins of his runner and headed to the paddock where Ravyna's mare was.
He didn't know why, but he felt like starting the fence mending right then. So, he headed to the lumber and the wire fencing after he stalled Patience.
