By the hospitality of Lord Dristian:
Come one, come all, to the finest Gather in all the land! Good folk will be journeying from the farthest reaches of the continent to eat, drink, and be merry!
Thou will find festivities a-plenty at the Celos Sea Hold Gather, with Harpers to strike up a cheery tune, Crafters to hawk their wares, and good drink and company to be had! Bring thy Marks and be free with them, for such a Gather comes but once a Turn!
And note, gentle folk, that this Gather has a twist. By order of Lord Dristian, every layperson must be clothed in a masque! Intrigue will abound, and thou must be careful with thine wine, for it may be that one waketh to a surprise when the masques are removed!
One should also noteth that this Gather will start only in the evening, in accordance with the Masquerade theme.
So come and join the merry-making. Ne'er will a Gather such as this be seen on Pern henceforth!
Notice: Dragonriders are nay invited. The Lord Dristian will not risk his gentlefolk to the illness plaguing the Weyr.
