I'm sure you've all noticed the new sections in the OOC board by now. It's taken me a bit to get it all set up, but now things are ready! I thought I'd explain the new sections briefly for everyone.
Instead of randomly choosing for yourself how many marks your characters have to spend and what they can buy with those marks at a Gather (or otherwise), we thought it would be fun if you had to earn your marks for your characters. Everyone starts with two marks per character, yay!
Each person will be given their own thread in the Marks Exchange section to keep track of purchases and winnings.
To earn Marks, you will need to take part in trivia questions, contests, and games! These will occur randomly over time. The first set of trivia questions is up!
As well, Araelen dragonriders WILL be fighting Thread! We will wait at least until the dragons from the upcoming Hatching are Sr. Weyrlings. At this time, through dice rolling, we will determine whether your dragon and rider make it through each fall unscathed. You can help those odds by purchasing useful, protective items at the Marks Exchange.
