Calysta hung her flight jacket up and sighed softly, glad to be back in her weyr after her scheduled sweep ride. She sneezed and made a face, cursing whoever brought the wretched flu to the Weyr. She tilted her head slightly as she heard Luneth grumbling to herself as she tried to get comfortable on her couch.
Calysta shook her head and loosened her hair from its braid and rubbed her sore scalp. Her green had been in a mood the past sevendays and Calysta had a feeling she knew why and in a way it worried her. Her green was proddy. And while Calysta enjoyed a good tumble in the furs, she preferred being in control of who and when, but when Luneth rose that choice would be taken from her. She leaned against the entryway leading to her green's weyr and crossed her arms, watching her lovely green shifting in agitation.
Luneth raised her head and looked at her rider with quickly whirling eyes, eyes that flashed red and orange in her state of agitation and need. She snorted to her rider before standing to fling herself from the weyr ledge. Calysta gasped and stumbled with the blast of emotions her green shoved into her mind. She shook her head and struggled to clear it as she made her way out onto the ledge to watch Luneth pounce upon a poor heard beast.
BLOOD ONLY! she pressed upon the green who snarled around the beast's neck in her muzzle. After a long struggle, she was finally able to convince her green to take only the blood of the beast, which Luneth did with great gusto, causing Calysta to look away even though she'd never been queasy in watching her green feed before.
As soon as the beast was drained Luneth pounced upon another and didn't fight so hard against her rider when the silly two leg commanded that she take the blood only, the blood fed and strengthened her desire.
She finished her third before she threw her head back and bugled her challenge to the sky and the males of the weyr. Her algae green hide marked by subtle, wave-like swirls of sea green. This colour is also found on her eye ridges and at her wing tips, glowed. Her head was slightly longer and thinner then most other greens, but this added to her allure.
Come to me if you dare! Try and catch me![/color] she taunted the males. She glanced around before launching herself into the air, the late afternoon sun glittering off of her hide.
Calysta stumbled back from the edge of the ledge and back into her weyr, shaking slightly from the feelings from her green was projecting, already nearly lost with them.
