That's right, folks! It has never been easier than now to send letters to your friends around the Weyr! After enlisting numerous willing flits, ranging from green to bronze, the Weyrleaders have finally managed to assemble a squad of reliable delivery fire lizards! Each of these fire lizards is identifiable by the golden band worn around the right leg and guaranteed to make a successful delivery, within 24 hours.
The system gets even better: all you have to do to summon a little messenger is whistle in the following manner! Wheewooweefa. The nearest delivery flitter that hears your call will come soaring in, promptly extend a leg for the letter, and give you their greatest focus as you relay an image of the recipient.
Finding people in a busy Weyr can be very difficult, and sometimes it's nice to go through that little bit of effort to write a kind letter to someone!
Flitter Mail also allows for anonymous service, whereby you can send unsigned letters, and the recipients will be none the wiser of the writer.
So whether you want to send a short note to a friend, confess your love to a crush, or tell your Weyrlingmaster just how much you hate your dull lessons (just kidding!), Flitter Mail is for you!
Posting Procedure: Each time you want to send a letter, simply post in this board, with the recipient in the title of your thread. You can then write the letter in your post in whatever style you please.
If you are writing a letter in reply to another member's letter, please post it in the same thread as the original.
If your character is sending an anonymous letter, you can sign it 'Anonymous', and other members will have to presume that they don't know who the letter is from. If you want to send a truly anonymous letter, please PM it to M'kel, Shikai, or D'gellin with the name of the recipient, and we will post it in this thread for you. That way, you can surprise someone with a sneaky plot idea, yes?
Remember! All deliveries require the payment of one meatroll, and any deliveries of packages will require the payment of 1 Mark!
