If after viewing the current occupants of our ickle character pound, you've fallen in love and just have to adopt one of them, this is how you do it!
1. Copy the character's application and paste it in a new thread in the Character Application board.
2. Fill out the information required at the bottom of the application regarding yourself.
3. Modify any details regarding the character that you would like. The only details that can't be changed: Dragon's name, dragon's appearance, dragon's personality, and dragon's abilities.
4. Post the application.
5. If the character is one that will need a Special Requests application (eg. bronzerider, pet fire lizard added), proceed to the Special Requests board to fill out this application. We will not have copy-and-paste ones available there!
Hopefully, the character you have adopted will fill that void in your life that sent you searching the Araelen Weyr pound in the first place. I'm sure he/she will be very happy you chose them, and may you have a wonderful life together! *tear*
Please Note: If you are a new member who adopts a character, posts only a couple of times, and then vanishes for at least 2 months, your character will be put back up for adoption.
Character sources: As you may have noticed, we are re-using dragon/wher descriptions for those who were abandoned shortly after Impressing at Hatchings. We will not do this for any dragons/whers who were rped a fair amount after their Hatching. The characters themselves have just had a few details filled in by the Meddlers to flesh out the application. We will also never make adoptable a character description posted by a member without that member's permission.
