It is time for the belated Month of Fun!
Each week, there will be a theme. All posts made during that week must be (hypothetically speaking, o' course) written in the style delineated by that week's theme.
Thus, for the week of November 13th-20th, melodramatic posts will throw characters through the emotional roller coaster of a soap opera!
And from the 21st-27th, Araelen Weyr's residents will suddenly find themselves trapped in the use of an ancient Earth tongue: Shakespearean!
Finally, from the 28th-30th, you must strive to type the LONGEST post and beat all the others!
For the first two weeks, we ask that every Member participating also cast a vote for another Member. Who wrote the most melodramatically amusing post of the week? Used the most Shakespearean flamboyancy?
For the final week, the winner will be determined by a Microsoft Word word count. Please do not check other people's post lengths at this time; just write the longest you can!
And now the topic I'm sure you've all been waiting for...prizes!
The winners will each choose a character, who shall be whisked away to a mysterious island along with the other two, for a day of isolation from the Weyr. Consider it winning the Weyr lottery for a holiday. On the island, there will be bountiful sweet nourishment, fresh water, and secrets in the sand...
