Hey folks! To keep you all avidly tuned to the Hatching (although I'm sure you already will be), we are instigating our first ever contest! This will be highly challenging and rely greatly on luck, and you will need to submit your answers within the next day or two! To do so, please PM your guess to M'kel.
Now, what is the contest exactly? You must predict to whom each fire lizard will Impress! Don't feel embarassed or anxious about your choices, just randomly assign fire lizards to people! Here is a list of the fire lizards and their colours (you must match colour to person):
Seven greens
Seven blues
Five browns
Three bronzes
It will be up to you to figure out who all of the potential people will be! Visit the "People in Pern" thread in the 'Info/Links' board to find the names of all candidates and riders.
For each correct guess (ex. H'kri will receive a blue), you will receive one mark! A whole mark!
As well, you have the chance of receiving an extra TWO marks if you predict the colour of the first fire lizard to Hatch and the colour of the last fire lizard to Hatch (one mark per correct prediction). Be specific about which colour you intend for which egg (first/last).
In all, you have the potential to win 24 marks from this contest! You may also win none...but what are the chances of that?
