((Calling Riza! ^^))
Having finished his chores for the day, Hirun was free! The prospect of being chore-less for the remainder of the day excited some candidates, but not Hirun. Not because he enjoyed the drudgework, because he certainly didn’t, although he didn’t complain, but because he was then left with decision of how to spend his free time. And he had yet to find many options.
Let’s see, there was swimming…which was fun, he supposed, but it would be better if there were someone around besides himself. And plus it meant getting wet, and staying wet for a while, which could be a nuisance. He could play his flute, but he did that almost every day, and wanted a change. This was certainly different than his days as a trader, when most of the day was spent on the road, seeing the land, visiting places both familiar and new, exploring…
Well actually, Hirun realized, this was a new place, and he had seen surprisingly little of the area surrounding the weyr. The trader in him was awakened, and he was eager to get out and see what he could see. Pleased to have found a way to occupy himself, Hirun made his way toward the weyr’s exit.
Upon leaving, and being faced with who knew how much untamed jungle, Hirun was both excited and doubtful upon realizing that going alone might not be a wise decision. He had heard of the dangerous felines roaming the jungles, and knew enough from his trading past that if one was caught in a dilemma alone, it could be their final mistake. Torn between setting out and exploring the land and admitting defeat and heading back into the weyr, Hirun could only stand in front of the weyr, struggling to reach a decision.
