Here is some words of wisdom I think are pretty cool. Vision boards, in case you didn't know, are boards filled with pictures of places you want to go to or quotes that inspire you or anything you want. It is for visulizing where you want to do or be or to complete a goal. NASA put a huge picture of the moon on their wall in the reasurch room and they put a man on the moon 2 years ahead of schedual. Where to get inspiring or anything is to cut out pictures in magazines or the internet. If you don't have anything like that, you can visualize in your head and the more details like feeling, color and smell, the better!
It's a very good idea. Visualizing your goals can make them easier to achieve! My goals all float as images and dreams in my head, though. I move too much to establish a board! lol. I certainly do daydream a lot. Lots of plans, yes yes!
On the left side it has GO straight to the top and an egypt picture and a forest picture. then in the middle are two quotes that make me think a little and also something that says Sing Without Hesatation and another thing that says Edge Of Time and the I have on there The road ahead What's next? and on the left side I have a pretty picture of a maedow, the Great wall and in big letters Beyond The Blue horizon.
I actually have something like that, though mine's more like a vision door. I tape all sorts of things to the back of my bedroom door... And a few are coming true. I had a picture of a fjord in Norway- I've always wanted to see Scandinavia- and now I'm going on exchange to Norway in two months' time. I also had a picture of El Capitan, one of the highest rock faces in the world. In mid-June, I'll be going there. Not to climb to the top, I'm not really an experienced enough climber for that, but there's a rout to a nice ledge about a third of the way up. Plus, all you do is climb to the ledge, camp there, and rappel down, which is immensely fun.
Others aren't so successful. Like... Antarctica. And K2 (yet another mountain). Most of all the Moon, though if I had a chance to go there, I'd leap at it without hesitation.
My favorite quote on there, though, is: "You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep, because reality is finally better than your dreams." Not sure if that's true yet, but it's a nice thing to wish for someday, whether that love be another person, or a mountain, or a city. Though for me, the city bit's a bit unlikely...

Rebels A'tair: 23 Turns, rider of bronze Tristiath. Generally amiable, but slowly becoming more paranoid. A'mnir: 15 Turns, of green Miladath. Overly trusting and friendly
Have been studying what's now commonly called the "law of attraction" for years and was sooooo tickled to see What the Bleep and then The Secret start to expand interest in creative reality.
(LOL, started responding to this topic earlier and then got sidetracked by the phone and forgot about it! Anyway... )
They talked about Vision Boards in The Secret ... and I started a little "Vision Folder" on my computer that is very similar ... pictures of things that represent goals.
Cool to see that so many others are doing something similar!
