Abilities
Team Coordination

Creativity

Agility
-competitions open to all colours
-consists of ability of dragons to perform in obstacle courses, involving rings and other obstacles held aloft by fire lizards
-also aids in Threadfall, for dragon will be less likely to be scored
Strength

-refers to dragon’s ability to focus on situation, demonstrated through ability to guide rider through obstacle course while rider is blindfolded, figuring out maze
Allure

-refers to physical attractiveness of dragon, including proportions of limbs, colour of hide, smoothness of hide, and other enhancing properties
Rescue/Search Skill
-competitions open to blues and greens
-in tournaments, may be tested through catching fallen riders (over water, not great height)
-in Threadfall, refers to dragon’s ability to catch falling riders and dragons who have been injured by Thread or fire
-also refers to dragon’s ability to sense potential dragonriders in Searches
Your dragon will receive a score in all of the abilities, but he/she will only be able to compete in certain categories for the Tournaments.
Abilities will be randomly determined by Moderators, although your preferences will be taken into consideration, and their complete use in dragon tournaments will be explained later.
It will also be interesting for everyone to note that some of these abilities can be enhanced by hard work on the part of rider and dragon. If your duo makes it through a Threadfall unscathed, your dragon may gain a point in Team Coordination or Agility! If your blue or green manages to rescue another dragon in Threadfall, you may gain a point in that ability! If you purchase sweet smelling oils and ribbons using Marks, your dragon will gain a point in Allure! Thus, you will not be locked in by the 'numbers' assigned to your dragon, for you will be able to pursue those areas you wish to improve.
On the Assignment of Abilities
This is almost completely random. I will literally be sitting here, rolling a 20-sided die to find out each dragon's score in each of the abilities. This is not entirely random, though, because I will make some trades between ability scores to make sense for a dragon (bronzes are unlikely to be weak and very beautiful). As well, I have removed the lowest and highest scores (1-3 and 18-20). This allows room for improvement.
Please note: If your dragon's score is very low in an area (eg. 4), this does not mean that your dragon is ugly or so weak that he can't even carry his rider into the air; it means that this area is simply not one of your dragon's strengths).
