River Valley

The canyon widens out into a large valley, surrounded by steep cliffs, with the river winding its way through the middle. Trees huddle close to the cliff walls and at the southern end of the valley, while a lush meadow dotted with shrubs climbs its way up to the Weyr proper. The herdbeasts and wherries kept for feeding the dragons graze throughout the valley.
