Hatching Grounds

The Hatching Grounds were carved into the base of the cliff by the churning of the river centuries ago. As the waterfall retreated upriver, it left this smooth-walled cavern with a layer of white sand, eroded from the limestone itself. It is located on the western side of the river just down from the main Lower Caverns area.
